Every Journey Is Different. Your Price Will Be Too.
A weekend through Colorado, a seven-day Pacific Coast road trip and a cross-country journey all require different levels of time, distance and planning.
Rather than forcing every traveler into a predetermined package, Happy Life Travel creates a custom quote around your actual journey.
Your quote may include:
Private Driver Service — Typically a flat rate, per day. Depending on the type of trip (statewide, multi state, local), amount of passengers.
Vehicle Arrangement — Client expense, travel in your own vehicle, select a rental vehicle that fits your journey, or inquire about a Happy Life Travel vehicle when available.
Mileage or Distance Charges — Client expense, when applicable to your vehicle and trip arrangement. (Only required on vehicles that have mileage expenses)
Fuel — Client expense, fuel used during the journey.
Driver Accommodations — Client expense, required for overnight journeys when separate lodging or accommodations are necessary.
Driver Per Diem — Client expense, a daily allowance for meals and ordinary travel expenses on multi-day journeys.
Road & Travel Expenses — Client expense, such as tolls, parking, ferries and other itinerary-specific transportation expenses.
Know Before You Go
Before you book, you'll receive a custom trip proposal outlining the services included in your journey and the applicable estimated costs.
Have an unusual idea? Tell us.
Camping trips, national park journeys, multi-state vacations, one-way adventures, extended road trips and unconventional itineraries are exactly why we offer custom pricing in the first place.
Don't build your vacation around our vehicle.
Build the vacation you want, and we'll help determine the vehicle that fits it.
Travel in Your Own Vehicle
Travelers can provide a properly insured and roadworthy vehicle, and Happy Life provides the driver. This is potentially our least expensive option. (If you have a vehicle that meets requirements)
Choose a Vehicle for Your Journey
Maybe you want a Suburban for five people, a luxury SUV, a convertible for California, a van for a long road trip, etc. We help you identify/coordinate an appropriate rental, while the rental relationship and insurance requirements need to be clearly established.
Happy Life Vehicle
Available for select journeys. Fewer vehicle choices. Our quote incorporates our vehicle/distance costs.
Driver Accommodations
For multi-day journeys, clients are responsible for reasonable overnight accommodations for the driver when accommodations are required.
Every journey is different. Driver accommodations may include a private hotel room, cabin, campsite, or another mutually agreed-upon arrangement appropriate for the itinerary.
If your journey includes camping, RV travel, cabins, or other nontraditional accommodations, we're happy to discuss arrangements that fit the experience.
When separate accommodations are preferred or necessary, hotel or lodging costs will be included in your custom quote.
Driver Per Diem
Multi-day journeys include a daily driver per diem to cover meals and ordinary incidental expenses while traveling. The applicable per diem will be clearly shown on your quote before booking.
Fuel & Road Expenses
Unless otherwise stated in your quote, clients are responsible for fuel associated with their journey, along with trip-specific expenses such as tolls, parking, ferries, permits and similar transportation costs.
You'll know what's included before your journey begins. Applicable expenses and estimated costs will be identified in your trip proposal so there are no surprises along the way.
